Sushi Kitchen™ established at  year 2009. We are the 1st plant-based sushi in Malaysia. We used fresh fruits and vegetables as our core ingredients. Sushi Kitchen™ is a place for us to love ourselves, to rewards ourselves. Our food took 10 years to form into perfectly match modern living standard as a daily meal restaurant.

We are originals, we created our own unique menu and concepts with passion and following Ethics Business Values.

Vegetable Cleaning Process

We wash the vegetables by soaking them in enzyme for 45 min. All vegetables are cleaned thoroughly before cooking.

We maintain our pricing affordable for daily meal and strive to keep our food quality finest as possible.

Filtered Water for all Cooking and Drinking

We filter and store our filtered water by using the method of Dr. Masaru Emoto to form the most positive crystal in water. Sushi Kitchen™ aim to serve customer the best, all of our soup, beverage are using the completely positive crystalize filtered water

Fresh Fruits and Vegetable as main cooking ingredients

In sushi kitchen™, we practice plant-based diet. We use himalaya salt and brown sugar as seasoning. No mock meat in our menu. Eat our green veggie sushis, noddles, soups, rice and spagetties.

Jing Tan

Jing Tan is a passionate entrepreneur for healthy plant-based food and mindfulness. In 2009 she co-founded Sushi Kitchen™, a Japanese fusion vegan food. The First vegan Sushi in Malaysia.

During the process of experimenting with vegan cakes and western food, she founded Cloud Dreaming™ Vegan Cake House. In 2016 she created White Centre™ in Penang for mindfulness, meditation, yoga, vegan cooking classes, after 2 years of mindfulness activities it has been extended as a white community to serve the public and Sushi Kitchen crew in 2018. In Sushi Kitchen™ she created the licensing system & trade mark, where people with zero knowledge in cooking or F&B business can easily learn the method and succeed. 

She was teaching, sharing and mentoring the owners and crews of each branch, building a community where everyone would able to enjoy, express and progress with freedom.

The project of community ends almost at the same time when, part of this branches owners, changed the name of Sushi kitchen™ to another brand name, using the Sushi Kitchen menu, taking as-well, media reviews and concepts without authorisation.

Where is the ethic of vegan person if it is base on taken advance of a pandemic situation, an agreement base only in trust, to ending up stealing everything from whom teach and give you all, knowledge and trust?  

She learned a big lesson in business, trust is primordial, but it is equally important to have a legal agreements to avoid people taking advantage of all the effort and years of building a healthy business.

Herself and Sushi Kitchen™ are example of conducting ethic business of keeping the balance between business, healthy diet and positive mindset.

Her unique skills of food creation and perseverance brought to Malaysia a new healthy food business for health conscious people. With more than 10 years of experience in plant-based business, she created another vegan/vegetarian/keto brand called Moment of Joy ® with her husband, in December 2020.

This new era is a big challenge for all food business, “mJ” bring a premium, unique and fresh plant-based menu for eating yummy & healthy. 

All her brands and activities has the same main goal and promise:

“spread the benefits of healthy food and mindfulness as much as possible”
