Jing Tan

Jing Tan is a passionate entrepreneur for healthy plant-based food and mindfulness. In 2009 she co-founded Sushi Kitchen™, a Japanese fusion vegan food. The First vegan Sushi in Malaysia.

During the process of experimenting with vegan cakes and western food, she founded Cloud Dreaming™ Vegan Cake House. In 2016 she created White Centre™ in Penang for mindfulness, meditation, yoga, vegan cooking classes, after 2 years of mindfulness activities it has been extended as a white community to serve the public and Sushi Kitchen crew in 2018. In Sushi Kitchen™ she created the licensing system & trade mark, where people with zero knowledge in cooking or F&B business can easily learn the method and succeed. 

She was teaching, sharing and mentoring the owners and crews of each branch, building a community where everyone would able to enjoy, express and progress with freedom.

The project of community ends almost at the same time when, part of this branches owners, changed the name of Sushi kitchen™ to another brand name, using the Sushi Kitchen menu, taking as-well, media reviews and concepts without authorisation.

Where is the ethic of vegan person if it is base on taken advance of a pandemic situation, an agreement base only in trust, to ending up stealing everything from whom teach and give you all, knowledge and trust?  

She learned a big lesson in business, trust is primordial, but it is equally important to have a legal agreements to avoid people taking advantage of all the effort and years of building a healthy business.

Herself and Sushi Kitchen™ are example of conducting ethic business of keeping the balance between business, healthy diet and positive mindset.

Her unique skills of food creation and perseverance brought to Malaysia a new healthy food business for health conscious people. With more than 10 years of experience in plant-based business, she created another vegan/vegetarian/keto brand called Moment of Joy ® with her husband, in December 2020.

This new era is a big challenge for all food business, “mJ” bring a premium, unique and fresh plant-based menu for eating yummy & healthy. 

All her brands and activities has the same main goal and promise:

“spread the benefits of healthy food and mindfulness as much as possible”

Vegetable Cleaning Process

We wash the vegetables by soaking them in enzyme for 45 min. All vegetables are cleaned thoroughly before cooking.

We maintain our pricing affordable for daily meal and strive to keep our food quality finest as possible.

We filter and store our filtered water by using the method of Dr. Masaru Emoto to form the most positive crystal in water. Sushi Kitchen™ aim to serve customer the best, all of our soup, beverage are using the completely positive crystalize filtered water

Fresh Fruits and Vegetable as main cooking ingredients

In sushi kitchen™, we practice plant-based diet. We use himalaya salt and brown sugar as seasoning. No mock meat in our menu. Eat our green veggie sushis, noddles, soups, rice and spagetties.

SUSHI KITCHEN ™

Dear valued customers, supporters and friends of SUSHI KITCHEN ™,

Notice is hereby given that the following outlets are currently operated illegally without authorization and license from the SUSHI KITCHEN ™ trademark owner:-

(a) Sushi Kitchen Georgetown12, Lebuh Acheh, George Town, 10300 George Town, Penang.

 (b) Sushi Kitchen Gurney Plaza – 170 – 03 -82 Plaza Gurney, Persiaran Gurney, 10250 Penang.

(c) Sushi Kitchen Bukit Bintang – Unit G2, Wisma Noble Land No. 2, Lorong Changkat, Lorong Ceylon, Bukit Bintang, 50200 Kuala Lumpur.

On 15th June 2020, 19th June 2020 and 2nd July 2020, we, the SUSHI KITCHENT ™ trademark owner has through their lawyer issued and delivered three (3) Notice of Termination of License to the business owners of the above three (3) outlets respectively, i.e. Goh Hooi Cheen (T/A: Hope Goh Enterprise) for the Georgetown outlet and the Gurney Plaza outlet and Abundance Corporate Sdn Bhd (Company No. 1322869-A) for the Bukit Bintang outlet, TERMINATING the license to operate restaurant businesses with the SUSHI KITCHEN ™ trademark and demanding the said business owners to CEASE and DESIST from using the SUSHI KITCHEN ™ trademark and all the confidential information related to the businesses.

We regret to see that the said business owners have blatantly disregard the Notice of Termination of License by continue operating the restaurant businesses with the SUSHI KITCHEN ™ trademark without authorization and license and thereby infringing the SUSHI KITCHEN ™ trademark. Our client reserves the right to sue these unscrupulous business owners for (including but not limited to) trademark infringement, copyright infringement, infringement of trade secrets, passing off, and damages.

 It is hereby anounced that the above three (3) outlets are now NOT in any way connected to SUSHI KITCHEN ™. The Public are henceforth warned against visiting the physical stores at the above three (3) outlets and the Facebook pages which are linked to the above three (3) outlets:-

 (a) Sushi Kitchen George Town – https://www.facebook.com/sushikitchentoo/

(b) Sushi Kitchen Gurney Plaza – https://www.facebook.com/sushikitchengurney/

Notice is further hereby given that currently there is only one authorized/licensed outlet of Sushi Kitchen ™ which is located at I RESIDENCE, 6-1, Persiaran Surian, Kota Damansara, 47810 Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The Public are welcomed to visit us at our Sushi Kitchen Kota Damansara outlet to enjoy the wholesome vegan Japanese food.

致Sushi Kitchen ™ 尊贵的顾客以及一路以来支持Sushi Kitchen™ 的朋友们:

近期,在市场上有商家在授权或许可被终止之后,继续使用我们的商标Sushi Kitchen ™ 进行商业活动,此行为已经构成商标侵权以及不正当竞争行为。

我们以上述商标侵权行为相关事宜,严正声明如下:

(1) 我们是Sushi Kitchen ™ 商标持有人;

 (2) 我们已经于今年6月15日,6月19日以及7月2日通过律师向以下商家发出终止授权/许可使用Sushi Kitchen ™ 商标通知书:

1. Goh Hooi Cheen (T/A Hope Goh Enterprise)

2. Abundance Corporate Sdn Bhd (Company No. 1322869-A);

(3) 按照该终止授权/许可使用Sushi Kitchen ™ 商标通知书,这两家商家的Sushi Kitchen ™ 商标许可证已被立即终止,并且不可以继续使用Sushi Kitchen ™ 商标来进行商业活动;

(4) 我们很遗憾地发现,以上商家公然无视该终止授权/许可使用Sushi Kitchen ™ 商标通知书,并且继续非法使用Sushi Kitchen ™ 商标在以下地点进行商业活动:

5) 我们在此严正声明,以上餐馆/商店目前未经SUSHI KITCHEN ™ 商标持有者的授权和许可而非法经营着;

6) 这种非常恶劣的非法行为已经严重侵犯我们的Sushi Kitchen ™ 商标专用权以及Sushi KitchenTM多年来努力打造与维持的声誉;

 我们郑重在此重申,我们是Sushi Kitchen ™ 商标合法持有人,任何人未经授权或许可使用Sushi Kitchen ™ 商标进行商业活动,均侵犯了我们的Sushi Kitchen ™ 商标专用权。我们定依法维权,严厉打击并追究其法律责任及民事赔偿责任。
